This place has a lovely bar seating style where the chef cooks right in front of you. It’s a pleasure to see how your food is being prepared—pure magic and entertainment! The kitchen is very clean and tidy! We had delicious: - Garlic prawns (a rare place that deveins the prawns for you—special thanks for that!). They were super juicy and fragrant. - Octopus salad - Salt cod hash - Melting onglet steak with mustard sauce. The meat was of the finest quality and cooked to perfection What we also appreciated was how the natural flavors of each ingredient shone through beautifully, without being masked by too many spices or sweetness. This made the dining experience even more delightful. We highly recommend this place. The staff is wonderfully attentive and welcoming, and the food is fantastic!

Amazing restaurant, have been wanting to go for a while and it didn’t disappoint. We sat at the bar which I’d recommend. We had croquettes (pictured), Jerusalem artichoke, new potatoes, pork and rice steak. The croquettes and the steak were the stars of the show! Will be coming back

Excellent food and service. I particularly enjoyed the bachalau a bras and the seared tuna. I would definitely recommend for an authentic Portuguese food experience.

Wanted to come to Bar Douro for a while and we are so happy we finally made it! Great friendly team - such a warm welcome! The menu contains a choice of wonderful Portuguese cuisine. Made with seasonal, locally sourced & some home made ingredients. Honest and delicious! Wine and cocktail list gives you the perfect choices to accompany the food. Cannot wait to come back! We came for lunch and ordered 1 x lunch menu and other items a la carte. The food quality was fantastic with each dish having delicate and moreish flavours. My friend is from Portugal and he said many of the dishes were authentic and reminded him of home. This place is renowned within the Portuguese community and you can see why! A must visit when in London Bridge

Loved our meal here - great food, generously sized small plates and friendly service. The cabbage was probably my favourite main, and the almond tart is also a must try. Can’t go wrong with this menu. A decent selection of vegetarian options.

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had a fantastic evening! Tiago took excellent care of us with great professionalism and attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was a delight. We will definitely be coming back!”
